Michelle L. “Shelly” Buck Hager, 70, of Rio Grande, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023 at her residence.
Born on December 4, 1952 in Nouasseur, Morocco, Shelly was the daughter of the late Charles Buck Jr. and the late Carol Dawson Pack. Shelly was a graduate of Kyger Creek High School Class of 1970, a retired Holzer Medical Center orthopedic tech, and a member of New Life Lutheran Church. She enjoyed animals, especially taking care of the community cats. Shelly was a generous person, donating to various charities. She enjoyed playing dominoes.
Shelly is survived by her daughter, Kelly Hager of Thurman, Ohio; son, Kory (Jenny) Hager of Bidwell, Ohio; and grandchildren, Kavyn Goad, Kruz Hager, Jersey Hager, and Kole Hager.
In addition to her parents, Shelly was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles William Buck III and Ricky L. Buck; a niece, Brandee Buck; great niece, Caitlin Buck; and boyfriend, Brian Ebert.
The funeral service for Shelly will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor John Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023 at the funeral home.
